WHO WE ARE
We’re a team of enthusiastic, down-to-earth, creative visionaries, full of passion and heart — without the ego. Devoted to helping your artistic vision come to life.
The Visionary
Elisa Menniti, Founder & Co-Director
Elisa Menniti is an actress, producer, and Founder, and Co-Director of HoneyBrumby Productions. And she knows first-hand that the best things come from living outside of your comfort zone.
Her artistic journey could never be considered conventional, but that in fact is what makes her creative path unique. Growing up in a rural part of Australia to first and second-generation immigrants, Elisa felt a strong pull to take a leap of faith and move to Los Angeles to pursue and further develop her acting career.
Her curiosity and love for acting and performing started at an early age with musical theatre, plays, and eventually developed into film and tv appearances. She has many years of experience performing in front of the camera — national commercials, feature films, short films, and web series.
If you were to ask, she would tell you that there’s no set road to success and there are no limits when it comes to accessing your own creativity. You become what you believe, so believe in yourself and the rest will follow.
The mad scientist
Tommy Wright, Founder & Co-Director
Tommy Wright is an American writer, actor, director, and a 2016 New Voices Sundance Alumni.
As a performer, he has appeared in major productions such as Fruitvale Station and Red Tails. Tommy previously worked on Fox networks hit show “Last Man Standing”, where he has received Story By credit on three episodes — “Extrasensory Deception” and “Otherwise Engaged” and “Parent-Normal Activity” and is a proud member of the Writers Guild Of America West. His latest project “A Family Reunion ‘’ was a finalist in the Screencraft film fund competition, a semifinalist in the Atlanta film festival screenplay competition, and a quarter-finalist for the Stowe Story Labs.
Born in San Diego and raised in Sacramento, Tommy has spent his whole life in California. He moved to LA in 2012 to pursue his passion in front of the screen. Like so many others who moved to Hollywood, he learned that sometimes your true passion is not what you initially thought it would be. He made the transition from being in front of the camera to being behind it and his career blossomed ever since.
Tommy’s career path is a true example of not subscribing to limitations. You don’t always know what your calling will be in this business, so simply continue to do what makes you happy and success will always follow.

Roots in Australia, Wings in the USA
OUR STORY
HoneyBrumby was founded in Los Angeles but it was important to keep a connection to Elisa’s roots in Australia. Growing up in a very rural part of the world Elisa was surrounded by Brumbies - Australian wild horses. The Brumby represents the spirit of the company, bold, free and limitless. The honey represents what the company is at its core. A place where collaboration is valued and nurtured.
When bees make honey it is an intricate process of collaboration. Much like making a film - it takes many intricate parts - all as important as each other to come together to make the final product, like honey.
HoneyBrumby was formed as a way to create our own opportunities within the industry. More specifically within the pandemic, we wanted to give hope and opportunity, not only to ourselves but to other determined like-minded creatives. Our company was born out of that determination and a deep desire to create on our own terms. Moving forward, we want HoneyBrumby to tell the story — through aligned collaboration and dedication, all things are possible.
We want the work that we do to cause an awakening of spirit, to inspire, to evoke, to bring joy, and to heal.
We aim to create abundance, prosperity and career elevation for every creative that we collaborate with. Every victory is huge, and all challenges are surmountable.
